A Bit of Saturday Night Genealogy Fun: Signs of GOCD

Thanks, Randy Seaver and Michael John Neill for a bit of summer evening fun.

You might be kinda sorta compulsive obsessive about genealogy if. . .

    1. Your daily ToDo List starts with tasks such as: find out Uncle Sam's wife's name.
    2. Your grocery list is scribbled on pink receipts from FHL film orders.
    3. Your family wall calendar includes birthdates of your favorite ancestors.
    4. You think a "House Tour" stops at old family houses instead of newly decorated showcase homes.
    5. You drive three hours and two states out of your way to get to a cemetery.
    6. You cry during sappy commercials about pre-planned funerals.
    7. You write down the provenance of your son's lopsided ceramic vase and carefully put it inside the vase near the top where it will be found one day (you hope).
    8. You have more library cards in your wallet than some folks have credit cards.
    9. You give your spouse the bag with post-its, change for the copier machine, paper clips, and pencils when he asks for the Emergency Kit.
    10. You count it "a good day" when you find out when someone died.

How about if you can't resist tombstones or graveyards?

Yes, it must reveal a lot, Karen.
So, Donna, how many library cards are in your wallet?

LOL funny Karen - some of your "symptoms" hit awfully close to home! :o)
